The 2014 Fifa World Cup was held this year in Brazil. Millions of fans were ready to show their pride and support for this exciting event that only comes once every four years. New York City natives and tourists watched as their favorite teams played for their countries. I collaborated with Adidas to create some promotional t-shirts to hand out to fans across all boroughs of NYC and to bring some of the fun in Brazil back home. I was inspired by the Escadaria Selarón (Selarón’s Staircase) located in the city of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The thousands of tiles used to decorate the staircase was a perfect example of the energetic atmosphere of the current World Cup. Take a look at some of the mockups I came up with as well as the final product. You might catch a few people around NYC wearing the shirts.
